With its tender consistency, the salami slowly melts in the mouth, while the crunchiness of the pistachio gives unique sensations to the palate.

The Chiaramontano Salumificio

“Il Chiaramontano” was born in 1994 in the small village of Chiaramonte Gulfi, where Massimiliano Castro decided to open a small shop selling fresh local meats.
His great passion and territorial ties combined with continuous studies and research into innovative methods for preserving meat led him, after only a few years, to the production of cured meats with original ingredients and particular flavours, such as Ragusano donkey salami or Sicilian black pig cured meats.
